Hooper's is a new and exciting dog sport that first appeared in the UK in 2017. With its origins based in USA its popularity quickly spread with Hooper organisations being formed across Europe.
Hoopers is often linked to agility, however there are no jumps making it a great low impact option for dogs of all ages. The aim of the game is to direct your dog through a series of ground level hoops with turns around large barrels and sometimes pathways through tunnels. Much of the fast pace and excitement generated through agility still features but the courses tend to not include tight turns and twists making it safer for dogs and a good option for dogs that are looking to retire from agility.
This is a fast growing sport and it is taking the UK by storm with more competitions and demonstrations being organised each month across the country.
